further universities:(further) Educationstudents' pages:students' affairs:Student jobs and employment agencies:StudentInnenvertretungen- this cannot really be translated, but perhaps it may something have to do with students unions(4) Online Encyklopedias:politicsliterature:all following links lead to pages still to be translated 1The Federal Republic of Germany (official name of the country I'm and with me over more than 84 millions (human population) are living in; compare Germany) is a federation of 16 states (called Bundesländer pl.; sing.: Bundesland), one of these states is the city Berlin; Berlin is also Capital of Germany. 2Is anybody out there who can tell me why the anglo-saxon world cannot spell Hannover correctly btw. why they let drop the second "n"? 3This morning I
started twice to translate this page, and in the first attempt I wrote
a little story about my community service at the Medical University Hannover
behind the link to that university. It wasn't really much but enough
to have a small laughing matter. And then? What happend then? Can you
guess? My antivirus program started to reboot my computer after the automatic
update AND ASKED ME WHETHER I WANTED TO SAFE the actual edited page.
AND I SAID YESSSSS! AND GUESS WHAT HE DID!!! Although I told him to save
that damned file this 4students in Germany have the ability of a kind of selfmanagement of their affairs, which includes the election of students and a students' parliament, they also send representatives to the university committees - that's nearly everywhere like this in Germany, nearly: Bavaria hasn't student committees; I won't wonder should you know something in comparison, but my dictionary found no entry to directly translate that matter. So I hope I describe the whole affair correctly right away |
